On Tuesday, November 4, 2025 my family woke up to a continuous water leak in our laundry room. Even after attempting to shut off the main valve in our home ... the water continued to flow. An emergency call was placed to Roto-Rooter. Roto-Rooter assigned Mr. Mark Dixon to assess and repair the continuous leak of our home. He proceeded to shut off our homes water externally because the water flow could not be shut off in our home internally. Mark Dixon was exceptionally personable, displaying both the wiliness to answer questions, and explained the main line entering our home was at fault (leaking). He showed both knowledge and pride in his craft through his assessment, work detail resulting in a finished product. Hence, the damaged main pipe was successfully addressed and the problem completely remediated. Thank you Mr. Dixon. I would highly recommend Mark Dixon for any ones plumbing job. Please inform him of this my assessment.

We are a church located in Bethesda, and we experienced a sewer blockage. Late on Saturday, we called Roto-Rooter, and they promptly scheduled an appointment for the next morning, Sunday. ... A plumber arrived as scheduled and worked diligently, but unfortunately, he was unable to resolve the drain issue. Additionally, the cleanup was not satisfactory, so we called the company to express our concerns. In response, the supervisor immediately contacted us, understanding the urgency of our situation. He came right away with camera-equipped equipment to investigate the issue. Then, another team with an air jet machine attempted to clear the blockage. However, due to the complexity of the problem and the difficulty in locating the main manhole, they were unable to resolve it. We reached out to the supervisor, Mr. Mark, again, and he kindly took the initiative to contact WSSC directly to locate the manhole. He even coordinated with the WSSC team to inspect their system, confirming that there were no issues on their end. The following day, he promptly sent another team to continue working on the problem, and I am currently waiting for them to arrive. Although the situation was initially unsettling, as time went on, I gained confidence in the company’s commitment to solving our issue. Despite the complexity of the problem, they have shown remarkable dedication, and I have been deeply impressed by their professionalism and genuine concern for their customers. This company is truly professional and understands the difficulties their clients face. If anyone experiences a similar issue, I would highly recommend them. I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to Supervisor Mark. He is a true professional with exceptional dedication, and we deeply appreciate his efforts.

Everything was awesome; from the time we made the appt to the time the job was finished. We had a major clog in our upstairs toilet. We called on Friday ... night and we had an appt scheduled for Saturday morning. Dai showed up on time and started working on the toilet. It unfortunately turned into us needing to replace the toilet altogether. We went out to get the new toilet, and by the time we came back, Dai had already removed the old toilet and was ready to put the new one in. Dai was extremely professional and very nice to chat with. We recommend Roto Rooter for any plumbing needs!!

The technician came Saturday and he was nice to me and basically did everything himself. But unfortunately this morning the garbage disposal is clogging up again. Roto-Rooter (24/7, day or night) agreed to come out early Sunday 1-28-23 between 8:30 to 10:00 am to solve our outdoor, clogged drain problem. The drain was way ... below grade. Your good tech (Lloyd) arrived between 8:30 and 9:00 am - perfect for the jam we were in. I was shocked at how soon he was on the job. I thanked our Lucky Stars (and the good Lord above) for Lloyd arriving so promptly. My pajamas, tennis shoes and gloves were soaked from the bailing the frigid water outside. He told me to stop worrying, go inside and enjoy my Sunday morning - he would take care of it. We clearly had an emergency situation on our hands with an outdoor stairwell drain blocked and water coming in under the basement door. My bailing didn't seem to make much difference. But, Lloyd saved the day and prevented any interior basement damage to our home (e.g., nasty ruined rugs or housewares or soggy boxes or shorted electrical circuits, etc.) We are very grateful for Lloyd's courtesy, polite-ness, expertise and hard work. I want to express my appreciation for the outstanding service provided by Roto-Rooter's technician Ai Sika (ID# 1530) on Saturday, Nov. 11. My bathtub/shower drain was completely clogged, and ... kept backing up whenever I used my bathroom faucet. I tried all "DYI" approaches I could think of, and nothing worked. Ai Sika came to the rescue! He was polite, professional, and efficient. Within 30 minutes, he completely resolved the problem, and made my bathroom usable once again.
