How to prevent frozen pipes and what to do if they freeze?
Wrap water supply pipes with foam pipe insulation sleeves. Use heat tape on the most vulnerable pipes. Disconnect outside water hoses then cover outdoor faucets with foam insulation kits to prevent them from freezing. Open cabinet doors beneath sinks to so warm air will circulate around pipes. Allow water to trickle from faucets when temperatures drop below freezing. Keep furnace set no lower than 55 degrees Fahrenheit. If your pipes have already frozen, use a hair dryer to thaw the pipe. Point a space heater at the pipe or the wall containing the frozen pipe. Never use an open flame to heat a pipe! If necessary, call a plumber to thaw pipes. If a frozen pipe has burst, turn off the main water supply valve in the house and open faucets to relieve pressure and minimize damage.

BEHNJAMIN was the guy who came to help. He was very knowledgeable. Explained what was wrong, and everything he was doing. He even showed my husband through the camera where ... the problem was. I DEFINITELY CALL if ever needed again. Rates were VERY reasonable! Thanks Roto-Rooter
My sewer line backed up an the night we returned from a 5-vacation. We had been driving all day and were exhausted. Greg, from Wilsonville, showed up about 45 minutes ... after we called and handled the problem. He treated me well, even though I was tired and grumpy, and explained everything he was doing. He gave us options on following up and made sure we understood what the issue was. I was very happy to get our issue resolved quickly and how to take care of things moving forward. Great job!
I feel bad for not remembering the technicians name, but he was absolutely wonderful. Clean, courteous, and quick. If I ever have a problem he is the one I want.Mike S.
