Frequently Asked Questions

Will I experience a drop in pressure after installing a whole home filter?

A whole home water filtration system should not significantly affect your water pressure. While you may experience a slight drop in pressure as water passes through the filter, the impact is typically negligible.

What contaminants do your systems filter?

Depending on the system selected, our systems can reduce a variety of water quality concerns including PFOA/PFOS (PFAS), lead, cysts, chlorine taste and odor, and sediment, to name a few.

I have city water. Isn't my water already good enough quality?

Municipal water isn't necessarily the quality you want. There are several water quality concerns to consider, even with city water. A recent USGS study shows that close to half of the country's tap water contains one or more PFAS chemical. The EPA has found more than 9 million lead pipes supplying drinking water throughout the U.S. The best way to guarantee clean, safe water is to install a water filtration system!

What's the difference between point of use and point of entry systems?

Point of use (or under sink) systems condition water directly at the tap. Typically, a homeowner will install multiple point of use systems at their most frequently used faucets, like the kitchen and bathroom. Point of entry (or whole home) systems treat all the water that enters your home.
