At 06:00 on September 7 (Labor Day) we discovered our septic tank had issues. Concerned with the problem and response times during the holiday weekend, we called Roto-Rooter at 07:00. ... The dispatcher informed us that Don, our technician would call us with specific information concerning arrival time etc. Don called within minutes, requested discrepancy information, provided suggestions for us to attempt (which we had, but was nice to hear) informed us of estimated charges and stated he would arrive within the hour. Don arrived (within the hour), we discussed the issues we were having. He had us do a flush test as he monitored the clean out. After which he opened the septic tank, discovered our problem (multiply toilet paper). Don discussed our options to prevent this from recurring, pumped and flushed the septic tank, conducted another toilet flush test, cleaned our sediment filter and then had me inspect his work. After he was satisfied, that I was satisfied, he reinstalled the septic tank covers, replaced the dirt and grass, and finally hosed down the work area. Dons attention to detail, work ethic and ability to make the best use of his time were quite obvious throughout the entire time he was at our house. My wife and I were so impressed with the prompt response time and quality of work, that I have already recommended Roto-Rooter to several of my colleagues. We thank you for a job well done.
