I called to get a plumber out because my my sump pump was backing up. I have standing water in the house and yard. I am very unfamiliar with the ... setup here. because I am staying with a relative that is unable to take care of these things for himself. I called and spoke to Debra and explained as much as I could (which again was not much) but she was very knowledgeable and helpful. She knew exactly what I was describing and then proceeded to explain the setup to me so I could better understand what was going on. She quickly scheduled someone and explained the fees and process. She made a bad situation so much more tolerable. I can not tell you how much her bubbly, friendly, and uplifting personality made a difference in such a terrible situation. When someone is calling with a plumbing and water issue, odds are they are not in a good mood. That is exactly how i started the call, crabby. When i hung up, I was laughing, smiling, and my mood was lifted. Im not sure how she did it, but Debra has a way with people. You have a wonderful employee on your hands that knows how to make customers feel at ease and happy. She is an asset. A keeper. Thank you, Debra.

On 28 Dec 2023, I called Roto-Rooter to fix a problem with the toilet. It was the same problem I contacted them to fix on 24 Nov 2023 and ... 24 Dec 2023. The toilet was filling up, nearly to the rim and was draining very slowly and not refilling to the proper level. Kemal P. was the technician who came out (he also was the tech that came out the first time). After augering the toilet, he recommended that I purchase a new toilet. He suspected that there was a problem with the lower part of the toilet drainage passageway. We went to a nearby Home Depot and purchased a Kohler toilet system (his personal recommendation) which he transported back to my house in his van. He installed the new toilet and finished by 12:30 P.M.. I thought he did a good job and everything came out all right (pun intended).

Mr. Rooter of Lincoln Park installed a Bradford White FVIR Defender Safety System 75 gal. Tall 76 MBH Residential Natural Gas Water Heater. My old water heater was removed. This ... water heater is much better than my previous water heater because, for example, if the pilot light goes out, (1) the instructions are easy to reset the pilot light features and (2) it has a built-in, internal pilot lighter so you avoid using matches. I also purchased a high-end faucet that Mr. Rooter installed in my kitchen. My plumber was very efficient and had significant expertise.

Elmer came out and took care of the problem. There was a unforseen issue and when it backed up again he came right back and found the issue and knocked ... it out of the ball park!. Thank you Roto Rooter and Elmer and staff.

Both Techs were on time,polite,proffessional and punctual. Diagnosed my drain blockage within a few minutes and got to work immediately to correct the blocked drain.

Chris came out for us on a Sunday. He was prompt, honest, thorough, and very helpful. He did a diligent assessment and examination of multiple floors, and he patiently answered ... our questions. Chris also gave us a truthful assessment and advised us to re-contact the company when we were ready to work on the deeper plumbing issue. Our main sewer pipe broke and was blocked by a root ball. Nothing related to plumbing was working. The Roto-Rooter team came out the same, identified the problem and got ... our plumbing working again on an emergency basis. The repair team came out the next day. The repair was complex but they took the time to investigate to provide the best solution. This repair could have taken much more time and been much more disruptive. You have two very relieved and very happy homeowners. We would definitely use Roto-Rooter again.
