Had a backed up main drain and water coming out of my downstairs toilet. Called Roto-Rooter, I was very pleased to see that David came out to deal with it. ... Left my two sons at home to be there when he came and he handled the problem with ease. He took additional time to change the seal on the toilet to make sure there was no other problems Great work David.

I booked a dishwasher installation service online. Within 1-2 hours I got a response and booked a date for installation for last week Tues April 10. The person was to ... arrive between 1-3pm. On Tues nobody came and nobody called. When we called to enquire a confused agent (we think) tried to cover face for a missed appointment by saying person fell behind in job and was running behind but will be there at 6pm. So when 645pm came and nobody came or called we were very upset and frustrated with this service. We called again and gave 5min for someone to show up or we are going elsewhere. It just so happened Bob arrived at our door in that allotted time. Bob was clueless to the wasted day we endured or why we were upset when he arrived. He was just given the call to install our d/w an hour before. This further irked me as it confirmed to me that no one was actually booked for our case in the first place. But what turned things around for me was Bob. Despite the fact that nothing was his fault per se, he took ownership of the problem and acknowledged our displeasure. He was very quick to apologize for the day and said that this was not reflective of his company roto rooter. He represented your organization in a very positive, professional manner. I am very big into how to deal with negative customer service issues and turn them around and he followed all my expectations to a tee. He was very competent in doing his job, presented all options, continued to apologize for the earlier mishaps and turned our negative impression to a positive one. My 4 stars were solely earned by Bob, otherwise I was prepared to go to more online forums and present zero stars for your earlier lack of communications and scheduling blunders. We understand things get delayed or what not, but in today's world very easy to pick up the phone and call and set expectations accordingly. But I felt Bob should be acknowledged by your organization which is why I wanted to take the time and write this testimonial. My d/w still working well with no leaks, etc so if Bob is on the call, will definitely call roto-rooter in the future if plumbing needs arise again.
