Spring Plumbing Tips
Spring is finally here. Here are a few quick and easy seasonal tips to keep in mind as the weather begins to warm up.
- Check your yard drains, gutters and downspouts - they should be clear and free of debris to ensure proper functionality.
- Make sure your plumbing pipes and vents are free of bird nests, etc.
- Check for outdoor faucet drips - leakages inside your home can be linked to the first time a hose is turned on after winter temperatures. There could be a pipe that froze over the winter, expanded then cracked. Such pipes will leak and should be replaced so that water damage doesn't occur.
