Lucky for them that Jason and Grant were there last weekend to host the Spalding's Oktoberfest weekend and treated them to great hospitality. Here's the note:
"We just got back and have recovered enough to send you a thank you for everything! We had such an awesome time and Jason and Grant were such gracious hosts, along with their wives. We, and some of the other great couples that we met, are already talking about next year's Octoberfest!
[editor's note, Roto-Rooter reserved the notorious and allegedly haunted room #38 for Craig and Amy] The room we had did not disappoint either. We had several things happen and well we didn't sleep much but wouldn't have changed anything, except staying longer!

Great letter, Craig. We're glad you had a great time. But what you saw and heard in your room may have just been a clogged drain making noise or some other plumbing problem. I was very pleased with the service I received from Roto-Rooter. The sewer line from my home needed replacing. I was impressed with the live camera pictures that showed how my old line had many offsets and cracks. By visually seeing the condition of the line I was better able to make a decision to go ahead and replace it. The servicemen were courteous and professional. The work was completed in a very efficient, complete and timely manner.

Back in October of 2010 I Had a sewer stoppage which was taken care of by Roto Rooter. They ran a camera down the pipe and told me then the entire sewer pipe needed replacing. Sure enough it stopped up again. I had called them on a couple of occasions and they always were here promtly and treated me with the upmost respect. Today they finally had to replace the entire pipe and it was done with such care to my new lawn and my underground sprinkler system as they dug by hand. I was amazed really and so grateful. I will always call them in the future. They do a wonderful job and are so friendly.
I called Roto-Rooter with a problem with my toilet which had a toilet brush head stuck in it. When I called the person that answered the phone was very polite and understanding and said that they would have someone at my home in a hour. Well Roto-Rooter was here within 35 minutes and the plumber was done in a few short minutes. He also told me what the noise was that was coming from my toilet handle. Great!!!! Who can ask for anything better? GREAT JOB! I am very grateful. Thank you so much.
I am a water damage restoration technician and these are guys are the best. I have performed work on multiple occasions where the customer had them out to fix a problem and I have always gotten great feedback about the Roto-Rooter guys!
Have had this company on 2 seperate times within a 7-8 week period ~ Addressing the drainage problem which was the cause of our flooding in our lower family room and other rooms adjoined to it ~ I’ll spare you of what the problem was and that it was all taken care of but we had to have them out again. The second time Jemo was the service man and he couldn’t of been more courteous, accomodating and a delight. He took his time assessing the problem ~ there was no charge as the previous work that was done had a 6 month guarantee. The intial charge was $370.00 which would have been fine if the problem was taken care of then; but it wasn’t ~ but after Jemo it is just fine now.

Roto Rooter came to my house, promptly, to address a draining problem. When the problem could not be resolved through normal servicing, they inserted a pipe in my pipes and concluded that I needed a new cesspool. This was terrible news, but I don’t blame the messenger. In fact, they were the first people who could tell me where my cesspool is located. They were very professional and thorough.
Doing laundry this afternoon I went down to transfer my wash to the dryer, change of plans, my basement floor was soaked. I put on my goggles and snorkle and went over towards the drain with a half dozen towels to soak up the spillage. I ran upstairs, called Roto-Rooter and in a very short time superman Brian came over. He did his magic and got that drain cleared up. Attaboy Brian, you were very professional and did a tidy wonderful job. We’re very pleased. Thanks
